Well....they've done it. I'm not sure exactly what Marvel Comics has in mind but they've killed Steve Rogers, the man behind the mask of Captain America.

I used to read this Title and I may read a bit here and there to see how badly they've destroyed the name Captain America. For some Captain America was simply a costume.....a man in a star spangled suit with a cool shield. For me....Captain America was more than a suit......the man wearing it WAS Captain America. Giving someone else the suit or the title is a joke....its been done...anyone remember US Agent? He wasn't Cap.....no one else is either.

*Salutes the Man who was the Legend*
Rest in Peace

No one could ever be Captain America. I agree. Steve was Captain America. He wasn't just a suit. He transcended the costume to truly become a mesh of both his identities. Especially once he was ripped out of his time and woke up in ours. All he had was being Cap. It defined him.

USAgent is a tool. Always will be. They sent him to Canada to help with Omega Flight. Never liked him.

Ive read Cap since issue 6, then read back to make sure I didn't miss any. Ed Brubaker is an amazing writer. He writes Cap better than anyone ever has. He really brought the character back. I highly recommend it.
